Cannot start IDE - where ist ./fp ?

(1/1)

PeterB:
Hello, all together.
I downloaded and installed the latest rpm's but I can't see any way to get the IDE running. The documentation (http://lazarus-ccr.sourceforge.net/fpcdoc/user/userse20.html#x28-600006.1) says that the command fp should start the IDE but there is no file like this.

Thx in advance

Peter

Vincent Snijders:
fp is the freepascal ide created by the fpc developers. If you want to use lazarus, start the IDE with lazarus. It is probably in /usr/share/lazarus.

HTH,
Vincent

PeterB:
Vincent,
shame on me! I am sooo stupid and forgot to install lazarus*rpm.
Thanks for your answer anyway!

Peter
