Porting delphi projects

Hello, ive been trying to import delphi projects to lazarus, but it is not posible since lazarus doesnt recognize them.
  I have heard o lazarus compatibility with delphi, if anyone can tell me how to import delphi projects i ll say thank you.

I was trying too, and only works for projects without components except from the standar and additional groups. the projects was from kylix 3 OE
