This is a question to the LCL creators:

Is it possible to get the exact parameters of a single font-character and how?

Especially I need the values called left- and right-bearing in Qt.

Imagine you have a big italic text like "ofo" in "times".
The character-rectangles will overlap, because the bottom of the "f" is going "under" the first "o" and the top over the second "o".
