Does anyone know of a working Richedit component?

I've been searching this forum for a successful Richedit component and have not yet found one. Is there one that has been ported successfully, installs easily, and works correctly in an application?

It compiles without a problem, but when I try to install it (rebuilding Lazarus), it says that LazRichEdit is not found. I did a search on the Lazarus folder system on my computer but did not find anything by that name. What am I missing?

Lazarus Version?
Platform?
Which version of RichMemo did you try to install? (It is important to use SVN version.)
Did you try to install another component named LazRichEdit?
