[SOLVED] How to get libmysql.dll

I am working on a desktop app that needs to interface with our web apps MySQL database. I get the cannot find libmysql.dll message. Where can I get this dll? Will I have to install the full MySQL server on my development machine just to get this dll?

You can get this as a separate download from MySQL. Do a search and match the 32 or 64 with the local machine and the version with the MySQL server version your connecting to. You do not need to install the server on the local machine but you should have it running somewhere on your network.
