WiringPi
« on: March 09, 2013, 12:48:54 pm »
Hello,

I want to control LEDs with a Raspberry Pi, but I can't get wiringpi running.
I downloaded the source from http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?topic=17404.0

After compiling wiringPi I made this a little demo application. Lazarus is able to compile the source but when I'm calling wiringpisetup, it only returns -1.
I don't know what I made wrong. I think I'm using a old version of wiringPi, but the new version displays other errors.

You need to run your wiringpi  executable as root to get permission to access the GPIO pins.
