Setup IDE for Windows CE
« on: January 25, 2013, 05:36:53 am »
I getting the error "Compiler xxxxxxxx does not support arm-wince". See the attachment. I tried following the earlier post, but got lost at a point.

See attachment 2 and 3 for settings.

Can you assist?

It appears there has already been a bug reported
for this problem. See below article

http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=23115

Seems fixed now since (r22723)

What lazarus and fpc version are you using ?

How is the patch applied?

"arm-no-thumb-fix.patch"

What do I do with this file? Where must it be placed?

You can try with latest Lazarus 1.1 and FPC 2.6.1 (FPC 2.7.1 has a problem with glyphs http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=23003).
Lazarus 1.8.4 + FPC 2.6.4 x86 (rebuild) and Lazarus 2.0, Windows 7 x64, unless otherwise specified

Did you tried to make an simple Hello World and run it on WinCE ?
Did you tried to uninstall Lazarus and on new install to check option to delete old settings ?
