I think all energy should be put in making Lazarus/FreePascal better and better and not in some logo restyling.

Sorry for being cranky during the picture-debate, it just felt so useless and out of topic during the web page feature debate, and also compared to other important tasks.
What happened is explained well in "Parkinson's law of triviality", also known as "color of the bike shed" effect.

In this case the comparison between a bike shed and an atomic reactor is very good because the complexity factor between a new picture and Lazarus internals is about the same.
In case someone has extra free time, there are many things to fix and improve in Lazarus.
If needed, we can collect some relatively easy tasks.
