Hello everybody.  ;)
I have install Ubuntu 13.04 raring 64 bits (daily build) and hardly test it.
It is surely the best linux system i ever have.
Fast boot, real true multi-platform, recognize my Atom graphic chip and Lazarus is working perfectly, much faster.
I have noted that now in Unity, the icons of Lazarus trayicon are showed.
(but only compiled with Qt, with GTK2, nothing showed...).

I use Lazarus 2.2.0 32/64 and FPC 3.2.2 32/64 on Debian 11 64 bit, Windows 10, Windows 7 32/64, Windows XP 32,  FreeBSD 64.
Widgetset: fpGUI, MSEgui, Win32, GTK2, Qt.

I mostly run my Linux binaries with FreeBSD. Is that what you mean?  >:D

I have to say, I have used ubuntu and its derivatives, but by far ArchLinux is the best distro for
using Lazarus in my opinion anyway.

Why?

1. Up to date pacman repository with latest stable Lazarus and FPC (when FPC 2.6.2 was released it was availble in the repository the next day)
2. Fast, one of the fastest distros available
3. Flexible, with a huge app repository.

The only con, is the install, but in reality it's not that bad and you end up with a super fast lean system.

If I forget, I always use the latest stable 32bit version of Lazarus and FPC. At the time of this signature that is Laz 3.0RC2 and FPC 3.2.2
OS: Windows 10 64 bit
