This error probably won't be fixed by a new snapshot, because its most likely cause is the presence of old compiled units in your path.

Did you remove the previous installer completely? Did you delete all the .ppu .o and .a files from your own project?

Sorry for the late answer, I had to hurry up to finish my own PE structure code and implement it in the project it was intended for

I have now installed the latest snapshot (just to make sure - 20060208), changed my $DEFINE to use the Jwa stuff again, compiled, and it worked like a charm now.

Just another reason why I love Lazarus and am working to switch completely to it. With Delphi. I have problems that are now in their third year as opened, but not fixed, reports in Borlands Quality Central. Here it took 3 days - that's more than factor 100 faster
