SynEdit Questions

(1/1)

JimKueneman:
A couple of questions on SynEdit:

1) I see a "Diff" Highlighter.  Is this for looking at the difference between two files? Is there an example somewhere how to use it?
2) I also see a SyncroEdit.  What do that actually do?

Thanks,
Jim

It's a highlighter for diff output (typically patch files), its usage is the same as other highlighters.

 One more question is there a way to make a Hex viewer out of SynEdit?

If not is there a Lazarus compoent that can do that job?

Not directly.

If you could combine the two:

* ATBinHex
* KHexEditor
* Extract from Double Commander

JimKueneman:
kHexEditor worked a treat.  Thanks.
