Problem with lnet
« on: December 18, 2005, 11:10:33 pm »
Hi

I want to write a remote for vdr by using svdrp
(http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Svdrp)

I can get a connection to vdr with the lnet-component, but then I send commands nothing happens. Then I saw that the answers of vdr all have a box at the end.

If I send messages with telnet to lnet there's a box at the end, too.

Is it a problem with the coding (utf, ascii...)

or a problem with strings?? must it be pchar?? (I have tried PChar but it works not)

Hmm can't say I know what you mean exactly. Can you "save" the output to a file and put it somewhere so I can check? Perhaps you're ommiting to send some lineending required? (#13#10 comes to mind, I don't know german but it looks alot like FTP and that requires #13#10 lineendings)
