Installing GLScene
« on: May 06, 2012, 09:21:23 pm »
Does anybody knows how to install GLScene with files from the site http://glscene.sourceforge.net/wikka/HomePage in Lazarus? If not. Is there any other solution to work well with 3D plot in Lazarus?

Just download the code to your components directory. And read the readme ;-).

I like the LCL implementation OpenGLContext.
Lazarus 1.7 (SVN) FPC 3.0.0

Circular has added 3D capability to the BGRABitMap graphics library.

Search the forum for threads containing BGRABitMap and 3D .  You can take a look and see if it is something you can use.

After unzipping, you will find Lazarus packages under folder GLScene\Lazarus.
Install the glscene_designtime.lpk for the core functionality. There are other packages for doing sounds, physics, Cg shaders, etc and are optional.
