ToroOS
« on: March 28, 2012, 05:03:45 pm »
Hi everyone, I re-started the project ToroOS, I think I have a lot of source and I am doing nothing with it. Furthermore, ToroOS works!, and it is in point where you cannot just leave the project. It could be used by teachers for educational purpose, or just for fun. The Toro Kernel proyect will continue but I am moving  the ToroOS files to GitHub, check http://matiasvara.github.com/ToroOS/ if someone fills interested. Unfortunately, the latest update was compiled with fpc 1.0.6 ...  then I am trying to compile it with the latest fpc for x86 (32 bits).

Best Regards , MV

Hi, I think it is cool if I upload a few screenshots of ToroOS. Some explanations:
1 - Grub Bootloader, before Toro boots
2 - Toro boots!
3 - Example of  "ls" command. Take note -as  many other OS-  "ls" is  a binary at /bin folder
Enjoy!
