SQL query and select record

Hi,
I am using Sql Query and firebird db. I want to say SqlQuery1.record
hw can I say that?

Sorry my message has mistakes. I want to say,
SQLQuery1.record
so I need, select record with record nummber.
and I can not close sqlquery when I select record.
What can I do?
I am useing Dbgrid. Can I select it from dbgird?
