CT installation is different from Lazarus default installation procedure, so CT forum would be a good place for a question like this. You must start SETUP.BAT as admin (it will not work as an ordinary user) and then choose option 8) Remove and build all.

Ugh!
I downloaded and installed latest codeTyphon, windows7.
Took the install option.
But things didn't go well.
Missing Shortcut.exe, etc..
I think that my unZip crashed, & not everything got unZipped.

Anyways, what shall I do now.
When I look in Add-Or-Remove Programs, neither codetyphon nor Lazarus are in there.

So should I just reRun the Install.Bat, again ?
What option should I take?
Thanks...Vernon

CodeTyphon has a different concept, since it aims to have a multiplatform installer. You can make a shortcut yourself to this executable:
c:\codetyphon\lazarus\bin32\startlazarus.exe
If it doesn't exist, then redownload zip archive again, remove all existing Lazarus/FPC installations and directories, unzip CodeTyphon archive and start setup.bat as admin as I have already said in previous message.

Hmm...
Both c:\codetyphon\lazarus\bin32\
and
c:\codetyphon\lazarus\bin64\
are empty

How did you "start setup.bat as admin"? Are you sure it was started as admin user?  Did you use "Remove and build all" menu option? You didn't say if you have existing FPC/Lazarus installation, you didn't say if you had deleted C:\codetyphon directory. You didn't say if you downloaded archive once again and unpacked it to a new dir. You haven't tested the archive for corruption. We don't even know the byte size of the archive to compare. We also don't know the CT version. Most of these question were already asked and there were no replies from your side. You would also have a bigger chance for a solution if you ask for help in CT forum, and not here.

Hi avra,
I am up and running now:
http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,16840.msg92262.html#msg92262

I started all over again, with codetyphon.zip
Added
CD C:\codetyphon
to setup.bat and ran it.

Voila, Lazarus is up and running.
Thanks...vm

It looks like Windows is not the only cross platform host any more. CodeTyphon 2.80 brings experimental cross building for Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris hosts.
