TDBLookupComboBox Text Color

I have two TDBLookupComboBox Boxes on my form.  Somehow I have corrupted one.  I am using only the ListSource, ListField, ListKey fields, using it as a db driven select list.

On only one of the controls, when I select an item, the Text field turns blue as it should but the text is black and very hard to see. While the drop down list is visible the text is white on that blue background The other TDBLookupComboBox shows the Blue background with white text which is easily read.  I have searched high and low for the setting that I might have messed up but cannot find it.

I could delete and reinstall the TDBLookupComboBox but there is lots hooked to it and I am reluctant.
