dbflaz (aka tdbf) locate problem

Hi all,
I have problem using the locate function in tdbf. It seems to be ignored during the runtime
(it does not even crash when run with a closed dataset) and of course does not locate query otherwise rest tdbf stuff works fine...
I was using tdbf (kylix) in the past without any problem....
Any ideas?
