Looking for Borland alternative

I've been a loyal Borland customer since the late 90's.  I'm really displeased with the direction the company is taking.  I'm frustrated with their abandonment of Kylix and migration to .Net.  One particular incident left a fowl taste in my mouth.

Right now I'm looking for alternatives.  I see a lot of promise in Lazarus.  I'm pretty sure a lot of other former Borland customers are in the same boat I am in...
