Can I install (and use) a Delphi (VCL or CLX) component in Lazarus?

Well... It's a bit complicated. Some of them should work properly, but other not. Because of those reasons:
- Lazarus isn't comleated yet, so some features could not work.
- There are some differences betwen Delphi Object Pascal and FreePascal languages, so some other features woldn't work properly (or at all).
Hovewer, many components are easy to convert to Lazarus. A lot of people works on porting some popular components to Lazarus.

Hmm... It's not so easy... I know, that, except those in Lazarus components list, Indy is being ported, Synapse works (I'm using it alredy)... I'm not using many visual components, so I'm not sure about others. I've heard about Jedi ported to Lazarus, but I'm not sure. Surely there are more, but I don't know about them.

Component ADO of the DELPHI can in LAZARUS? O componente ADO do delhpi pode ser inserido no LAZARUS. How to access table or bds ACCESS MICROSOFT?

It may be possible to use delphi components in Lazarus, but only if the source of is available.
(Compare it with installing D5 components on D7, in binary form this isn't possible)

You can use ZeosLib to access microsoft databases.
