Error while linking
« on: September 24, 2003, 10:16:00 am »
When I compile a simple project I get the error

/usr//bin/ld: cannot find -lgtk
Project1.lpr(15) Error: Error while linking

I didn't see this in the FAQ. What could be wrong?

I get the same error, and can find no corresponding package to install. gdk seems to be part of the package gtk, and I have installed this, as well at its -devel counterpart. Can someone please help?

Sorry, I misread the original message. The error which I get is "cannot find -lgdk".

Apologies for mistake.

Guest,

I've now found the solution. I had to add some library paths in the 'Compiler options' dialog. Mine now reads /lib/;/opt/gnome/lib/
