Character encoding in open/save dialogs
« on: October 10, 2011, 08:23:58 am »
Windows Notepad shows native Windows' open and save dialogs with combo box for choosing character encoding. Is it possible to show this combo in LCL's open/save dialog?

no it's not.
You would have to create your own Save Dialog, which would be bad :)

I suggest you put your character encoding somewhere else
(in toolbar, or options?)
I'm using Arch Linux.

The workaround in Notepad++ is an Encoding menu.
