[SOLVED] FastReport 5

Has anyone tried to install FastReport 5.2 into Lazarus?


If so can he or she tell me how it's done because i keep getting an error that it can't find the Delphi..QR unit.

I am using Fastreport 5.3.

Build and install fs_lazarus.lpk package in the Fastscript folder.

Build and install fr5_lazarus.lpk package in the Source folder.

It shouldn't be trying to find anything related to Delphi or QR unit unless you are trying to use Delphi packages.

If you are still getting errrors when installing, post what they are so someone might help you.

Thats what i did.
But it's giving an error:
Fatal: Can't find unit DelphiZXingQRCode used by frxBarcodeQR

I use FR 5.3 and don't have any problem to install the lazarus.lpk.

If you use the latest FR 'official release' I suggest you to ask their customer support... :)

Try to rename DelphiZXingQRCode unit (AFAIR I've fixed it in that way) into lowercase (unit and filename) ...

Well that did the trick for me to.
I did get another error about a file, but changed this also to lowercase and now it works.
