Can I use embedded firebird?

Can I use the embedded version of Firebird with Lazarus or does it have to be one of the other versions?
If so where do I put the firebird Dll, Would placing it in the same directory as my code be OK :?

i'm using of embedded server with lazarus. All OK. The description of place and files embeded server is in documentation of firebird. The documentation is in your firebird directory in subdirectory "DOC".
