Free Pascal on HP 50G calculator?
« on: July 12, 2011, 12:46:46 am »
Dear forum people,

I wonder if there is some way to program using Lazarus or other way to use Pascal and write programs that would run in the HP 50 G calculator, even just plain text and number programs?

Thanks!

Acording to wikipedia the processor is ARM, which something good: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HP-49_series#HP_50g

But there is no RTL, although maybe you could use an embedded target.

Do you already have a linker and assembler for it?

Thank you, felipemdc.

I have nothing yet on this but old Pascal capablility, liking Lazarus, and do have an HP 50G.

It is a possibility that I thought might be there already, to run some sort of Pascal on that calculator.

Not a must, though.

Thanks a lot for helping.

Afaik  hp49 and hp50 can run hp48 programs, and IIRC there was a pascal for that.

Thanks again for the information, Markov.

I will check as you say.

Check here:

Note that something Delphi compatible is probably not an option. It will be basic, very basic.
