TDBNavigator glyphs
« on: June 23, 2011, 01:07:55 am »
Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong sub-forum.

I find the button images of TDBNavigator rather confusing, especially the one for delete (the minus sign) and undo (the cross). The latter I keep associating with delete.

I would like to have less ambiguous glyphs on them, like a trashcan for delete, and a commonly used glyph for undo (see attached image).

(Yes, I know how to change them for myself only)

Your opinions?

Bart

I agree with you, that new icons would be less confusing :)

Can you post this as "patch" to our bugtracker ? It seems useful to me

Done so: http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=19638

I chose a slighly different trashcan glyph (see attachement).
The one in my original post did not "gray out" when the button was disabled.
The new one does.

(I'm not exactly sure how this fenomena works though...)

@Marc: if you agree, can you commit?
