Fortes4Lazarus excel filter

Hi,

I using lazarus from daily snapshot(0.9.29) and fortes4lazarus from svn, and i need fortes to export report to excel, i make a simple fortes report that contain a header band and a label to test this feature, but the generated excel file cannot be opened by LibreOffice or MS Office  Cry, had anybody tried Fortes4Lazarus excel filter feature and success fully create valid excel file ?

and any body know is there any plan for LazReport support to export report to excel? Smiley

Just did a test with an application I made earlier and added the Excel filter to the report and ran the application. It made a readable Excel file (tested with Office 2010 and OpenOffice 3), but not all columns were filled correctly (date and time columns remained empty).
But in answer to your question: yes, I did manage to make an Excel export from FortesReport which was readable by my Office Suites.

Thank you for your information, it's weird why it's not readable in my case i will try again later, but not all columns were filled correctly it's also a problem too , hope this will be fixed.

1. Could LazReport export report to MS Excel ?

2. My 'accounting' project will need to print out many reports, which control is best between LazReport and Fortes4Laz ?

I got the same problem the generated excel file is corrupted unable to
read it with MS Excel 2010.

Does anyone solved this problem Please help
