Interfaces not found except under windows
« on: November 21, 2011, 04:56:06 pm »
Hi, I'm trying to cross compile my project to get executables for MacOS and Linux.
When I change the project options to carbon I'm told that interfaces is not found. It is found when the option is windows.

EDIT: The same thing happens for me under ubuntu when it's not set to Linux / GTK2. I probably missed something?

Thank you for any help,

Trevor

Well, just to start with:
1> Do you have cross-binutils installed?
2> Do you have Mac OS X libraries for linking available in your Windows?
3> Do you have a cross-compiler installed?

About the Interfaces message itself:

http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Lazarus_Faq#When_I_try_to_compile_a_project.2C_I_get_an_error_message_.22Cannot_find_Unit_interfaces.22.

I'd have to say no on all three counts. Would it be too much to ask for a run down of how to do it?

Thanks,

Trevor
