TDBF - On OSX?
« on: July 19, 2005, 07:23:07 am »
Hi,

I'm waiting for my copy of OSX to come but in the interim I thought I'd try and get a start in Windows.  My question is the TDBF component available and working in Lazarus for OSX?   :?:

Cheers

Yes. It does not depend on any external library, so it can run on any platform lazarus can run.

No, TDBF works only on little endian processors, so not on powerpc 's.

Curious ... What kind of code could generate endianess issues? Can you give me a simple example?

Is it the way it stores the information, and it should invert each Byte before writting it on ppc?
