ANN: ScroogeXHTML RTF (Rich Text) to HTML / XHTML converter

March 22, 2011 - Habarisoft is pleased to announce the release of ScroogeXHTML version 5.1.

ScroogeXHTML for Delphi® and Free Pascal converts text attributes including background and highlight colors, paragraph attributes including alignment (left, right, centered, justified) and paragraph indent (left, right, first line) and simple numbered or unnumbered lists. Unicode conversion allows multi-language documents, including simplified and traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese. CSS and default font settings help to create optimized documents.

Supported document types are:

    * XHTML 1.0 Strict and Transitional
    * XHTML 1.1
    * XHTML Basic 1.0
    * XHTML Mobile Profile 1.0
    * HTML 4.01 Strict and Transitional
    * HTML5

Web server demo

Habarisoft is pleased to announce the new interactive web server demo, which is included with source code in the demo download. This new demo runs as a stand-alone webserver, uses a HTTP web form to submit your test RTF code to the ScroogeXHTML converter component, and presents the converted XHTML code in your browser.

Does this component set contains a package and a demo for Lazarus? Or you only adapted it for FPC 2.4.2?

The current demo is compiled with Delphi, and the product contains packages for Delphi 5 to XE (but not for Lazarus), as the component is so simple that it actually can be used without any installation in the IDE. So I am afraid now that this announcement was posted in the wrong forum? ... :)

It would be nice if the product contained a package for Lazarus. It is not a difficult task but will save time for those who buy it for Lazarus.

A Lazarus package for the ScroogeXHTML component is now available and installs nicely in the component palette, it was really easy to configure as you said.
