Author Topic: Object Inspector - can't type into property box because of hotkey behavior  (Read 4249 times)

Um....I can't enter text in an Object Inspector property (e.g. any Name property, any component) because the OI treats the first letter I type as a hotkey and jumps to the first property with a name beginning with that letter.  So if I am in the OI for a form, click on Name, get a blinking cursor and type the letter e, the cursor jumps to the Enabled property (!).  I cannot enter text for textual properties.

What is going on?  I perused the environment/editor options as well as this forum and didn't see anything.  I'm stuck!!!

Theo, thank you.  The tab thing still seems highly annoying, but at least I can hack my through it now.  I wonder if there's a plan to make this a global setting so that users can choose a default behavior....
