Groupboxes in GTK
« on: June 18, 2010, 02:45:07 am »
AFAIK, groupboxes in GTK are implemented with frames. The classic groupbox has a border around it, but these borders are deprecated in the recent GNOME HID and the label should be bold (see http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/2.30/controls-frames.html.en).

Is there a relatively painless way we can get groupboxes in GTK to look the "preferred" way? If not, what is the likelihood of upstream changing the code so that they render "preferred"?

I think that your best chances are by fixing the issue yourself and sending a patch.

If don't want to do that, you can add an item to the bug tracker.
