TStringGrid vs TListView (sooo slow)

Hello,

i have problems with Component TListView under Carbon.
It is fast, very fast but cannot draw Subitemimages or custom Colors under Carbon. The CustomDraw is not activ.

So i use Stringgrid.
But there is extrem slow, insert 10 Columns, 100 Rows.
Resize Window or Scroll in View is very slow.

I cant use VirtualStringTree under Carbon, by use i see only white background ;/

What can i do to make StringGrid faster or whats listview working under Carbon ?
BW: I have no customdraws by testing StringGrid
