Webcam component
« on: September 21, 2010, 11:45:32 pm »
Hi folks.

I've seen some stuff about webcams and mplayer/mplayer2 but none of what I've read seems conclusive.

What I want to do is find a component that I can embed in my windoze application that will allow me to control a webcam attached to a USB port. I want to be able to capture a single frame, start/stop recording video and capture the video stream for display/storing.

So... what do I need and where do I go to download it?  :D

Ta muchly,

Simon.

Nope, hadn't seen that. Just has a look though and, whilst it may well be superb, it's GNU/Linux rather than windoze. Unfortunately, I need a windows component.  :(
