Rehashing a simple web server for Lazarus

This is unrelated to the code I'm working on at work but does relate back to last year when I started trying Lazarus out. 

I'm looking to write a ebook/picture/document library program that will primarily run on my Linux files server and serve as a standalone webserver to the library.  I played around with a software package called Calibre and had some issues with it but liked the idea of a standalone library program with a built in content server so I'd like to try my hand at writting my own. 

So before I dig into the few old posts of mine and the packages I was playing with last year I figured I'd check to see if something else has popped up that would let me add a simple web server to a program.

Any Suggestions??
