problems with keyinput.press

Good Morning.
I tested the package mouseandkeyinput, in a project, and the char sended with KeyInput.press is repeating  even I close the user in Linux, repeating in ever aplicacion I open.
After I tested the program in example, and it happens the same.
I work with Ubuntu 10, lazarus 0.9.29 rev unknown, and fpc 2.4.0
 Help me please.
