Which generation?

Which language generation is Lazarus?
AFAIK
Assembly - 1st generation
Turbo Pascal - 2nd generation
??Lazarus?? - 3rd generation
Visual Studio - 4 th generation
WinDev - 5th generation

But I am not sure, so is Lazarus a 3rd or 4th generation programming language?

Lazarus is an Integrated Development Environment - not a programming language - and as such I don't think it can be categorized in any of the above.

That will then make it "Pascal - 2nd generation"
The FRED Trainer. (Training FRED with Lazarus/FPC)

I wouldn't say so - Lazarus is NOT a programming language. The language Lazarus IDE primarily supports is Object Pascal (3rd generation).
