Title: How do I correct incorrect information in https://www.freepascal.org/docs-ht...?
Post by: heeb on December 22, 2018, 11:29:30 pm
Hi all,

First of all: A Very Merry Christmas! Best wishes to all who read this :)

Secondly, I'm a n00b, not in FreePascal / Lazarus / Delphi, but in editing forums / wikis, etc...

I came across a slight inaccuracy in a page within https://www.freepascal.org/docs-html/fcl, and I was expecting some sort of "edit page" link, like in a wiki.

But it's not there.

How / where do I submit a change suggestion?

Kind regards,

Matthew

IIRC, the best place is probably the bugtracker (https://bugs.freepascal.org). Remember to submit a patch (http://wiki.freepascal.org/Creating_A_Patch) against the most recent source docs (https://svn.freepascal.org/svn/fpcdocs/trunk/).

This indeed seems to be the correct way.
I don't use SVN (unless forced to do so, lol), but I do use git, so I will do my best to submit a patch as described in your extremely useful links :)

Many thanks!

And happy holidays, etc etc etc  :) ;) :D
