Title: What's wrong with Lazarus on my computer?

I'm a beginner using Lazarus. I and a friend use the same version of lazarus (1.8.4), on two different computers. I noticed the difference when running lazarus on two computers. I tried my best to change the look of my Lazarus, but it was not like my friend Lazarus.

Help me please.

Welcome to the forum.

Nothing wrong with Lazarus.

May I ask you, why you want your Lazarus to look the same as your friend's? You and s/he were not using the same OS. Yours is Windows 7 and the other is Win8 (or above). Even you both are using the same version of Windows, you still need to make sure you both using the same theme, same color scheme, enabling/disabling the Windows Aero feature, etc.

You are using different versions of Windows and Lazarus on different years on those two images.

Your image is showing Lazarus 1.8.4 on Windows 7 on 02 June 2018.
