Thanks for reporting this. AFAIR, this has been reported already on the Lazarus mailing list and a new version would be uploaded that fixes this...

The Downloads link from the Lazarus home page take you to:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/lazarus/files/
That page states that the most recent version available is:
"Looking for the latest version? Download lazarus-1.0.2-fpc-2.6.0-win32.exe (111.4 MB)"

I don't know whose fault it is, sometimes sourceforge doesn't really point you to the very recent file uploaded, so you have to open files section and pick the latest version manually.

Should be fixed.

Thanks to the Lazarus Team. After VB has practically died after adopting .NET Framework Lazarus has given me a new hope. It is the best RAD and IDE of current time.

First of all, congratulations on releasing another prompt bugfix! I also see confirm the deb package works fine (although it's too bad the apt repository is not updated any more).
Also I'm glad to report that FreeBSD ports also include a release version of Lazarus (http://www.freshports.org/editors/lazarus/) at last, starting from 1.0.4 instead of the old 0.9.30 they had so far. They needed just a little nudge though ;)

Thanks very much!

Thank you for such an excellent release!
This is what Delphi should have been. Lazarus and FPC are miles ahead that bloatware.
I love being to code in Object Pascal again.

Release 1.0.4 have many bugs!!! A lot of Components can not be compiled, for exampel lazpdfexport. There is no support for Sqlite. You have a lot to do!

I've got mine fine, sqlite is working fine, haven't tried lazpdfexport. What errors do you get? Have you reported it anyway?

A lot of Components can not be compiled, for exampel lazpdfexport.
It should compile after installing PowerPDF. See:

Why doesn't the PowerPDF package become an integral part of Lazarus? I think many users would appreciate it.

As is with any other components. Though I don't really know the policy of component integration into standard distribution, my guess is that there should be a maintainer for the package who is also a commiter, besides the license that should be compatible (powerpdf is already LGPL, so this shouldn't be the problem).

To be honest, it is also mystery for me, the policy of component integration. I think TRichMemo, VirtualTreeview, Indy, PowerPDF and some others should be included into standard distribution. It could be helpfull especially for new Lazarus users.
