Title: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS: Lazarus compiles correctly, but does not launch the executable
Post by: misterg on January 31, 2017, 11:29:51 am
I'm migrating from Windows to Ubuntu.
In windows when I press the RUN button, Lazarus opens the "command promt" and run my program.
In Ubuntu when I press the RUN button, Lazarus does not open the terminal and I can not see my program run.
If I open manually the terminal and launch the program compiled by Lazarus, everything works fine; This is very inconvenient because it does not allow me to use the debugger.
Have you any ideas to get around this?
