I was asked to add Lazarus IDE announcements to https://www.beginend.net/
However there does not seem to be an RSS feed for that, the forum RSS for http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/board,18.0.html actually lists the last comments, not the posts.
Since http://www.lazarus-ide.org/ lists the posts, there should be a way to grab them, or is there?

You can add both of them individually?
I dont know if smf (the forum software) has such an option.
The website (lazarus-ide) polls the announcements via an API calling the php functions of smf on the same machine.
Also the website only features one of the announcements. Not sure if both is supported there.
So this is first about someone knowing, if this is possible, and how.

There are also extensive options of the SimpleMachines platform for XML feeds, see http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/XML_feeds (http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/XML_feeds) for details.
You may, e.g., use feed://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss;board=18 for announcements in the "Lazarus" board and feed://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss;board=60 for current posts in the Free Pascal topic.

To get all 3 announcement boards use c=7
And maybe sa=news

Guys, Eric for beginend aggregator needs just single news topics, not the posts under them.

Ah, I see c=7 does the same - all three announcement boards belong to the c=7 category.

It may be a bit off-topic, but I just visited beginend.net, and I am quite enthusiastic.
This is a very useful service. You might also consider to automatically feed new entries as tweets (or is there already a Twitter account?) and/or reddits (e.g. in the subreddit http://www.reddit.com/r/pascal/ (http://www.reddit.com/r/pascal/), which is rather orphaned, if not deserted).

Still feeling enthusiastic both reading the feed and searching for more to add :)
Please feel free to "Suggest a new feed" if it is not there in the Feeds or Happenings.

Lazarus Third Party, SO Pascal & Pascal reddit as forums (right bar).

Might have a look at enabling a service for that, but twitter tends to bury news very fast, and the limited message length would make most post summaries / descriptions meaningless.
I am not fond of mirroring on Reddit (or similar) as that would just drive traffic to reddit advertisements, and move user comments away from the blogs/content producers.
This btw is one of the reason why I am not planning a comment system on beginend, or if I do, it would just be a view of the comments feed from the blogs/forums.
