I have used Linux for some time, and it seems to me that porting applications from Windows is a frequent activity. (I use amd64 Ubuntu 10.04.) I have a small amount of experience with Pascal, but no previous experience with Lazarus.
The source code for a statistical package, LazStatsSrc.zip compiles successfully on Windows, and I am hoping to build a native Linux port. Removing Windows from "uses" allows me to get further, and filenames must be changed to match case in Linux, but this has not resolved issues. Is there a guide for new users of Lazarus attempting such tasks, for many people must be attempting to do such things?
