DBGrid & CheckBox - column independent of the database?

I have tables in the DBGrid, and I wanted a CheckBox field type but locally, without changes to the database, something like MultiSelect DBGrid.
Please ideas - solutions.

Not sure if this is what you are after, but you can set the checkbox property of a column in dbgrid.

It is if you set a DBGrid ButttonStyle the csbCheckBoxColumn. But in no way can I edit this field. help
