I have a simple question...

I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my laptop, I have also installed Wine to run Windows applications. I have installed Lazarus (Windows version) on Wine, and its working well.

Can I use the above system to develop applications for multi-platform usage, such as on Windows Linux or Mac ??

thanks

As long as you stick too cross platform principle (avoid platform specific units, or guard them in ifdefs), ALWAYS use autosize and layout, I say yes. The only problem would be on testing. How would you test the Mac version?

Yes I guess that's not possible, I thought I could VirtualBox, but now I see they do not have Mac as guest OS.

thanks anyway.
