The human mind requires some form of notation to express and transfer concepts. Mathematical notation is very precise and is almost universal. Now the expressions in pascal are a blend between mathematics and English words. This can be useful to English speakers when the English word is well chosen to represent the programmatic process. Not all pascal keywords are well chosen and poorly chosen words can initially confuse an English speaker when the pascal meaning differs from spoken usage. Soon all including English speakers learn that the keywords of pascal are nothing more than notation. Sure we could change every keyword maybe to a long dead language (Ex. Egyptian hieroglyphs) and English speakers would lose the slight advantage. What is important is that documentation be available that transfers an accurate description of the keyword usage to the programmer in his/hers native language. English speakers need this documentation too.
