rxfpc on Mac

I use the rx vcl components all the time in Delphi.
I was happy that someone had ported them to Lazarus.
I am having some issues however.
I am looking for a Currency edit control.
The rx package has one but when you edit the text is left justified witch is correct.
When you loose focus the value is returned with the $ sign but the left justified text remains.
It seems like a repaint error.
Any ideas.
I also tested the TDBDateEdit control.
On entry it does not show the date which the Datafield is sending.
Also I cannot change it to the Australian dd/mm/yy format.
Any ideas on this as well.
