Lazarus packages/units and Delphi
« on: November 09, 2004, 10:08:08 pm »
Two simple questions:
1. Are the packages created with Lazarus usable in Delphi? (I suppose not)
2. Are the units (with forms and *.lfm files connected) usable in Delphi (I suppose yes)
I am currently writing something in Lazarus that could be quite useful in my other work written in Delphi, hence those questions.

Regards
Mike

Packages are different.
Compiled units are different.
Source code *might be compatible depending on code, maybe use IFDEFS.
.lfm files are compatible for some components, some properties might be missing.
It is possible to share code between Delphi and Lazarus depending on your code.
The future must be... Fast and OpenSource so...
