Symbol MC1000 BarCode scanner
« on: January 17, 2008, 11:02:41 pm »
Hello, I try to make the simplest project in KOL-CE named 'test', only form without any other components. On my PDA with Windows Mobile 2003 (WinCE 4.2) run correctly but in Symbol MC1000 (hanheld barcode scanner with Embedded Windows CE 4.2 Core and CPU Intel XScale PXA 270) - not work. Error message is "Cannot find 'test' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available". I think that some of system libraries in MC1000 is missing comparable to PDA. How can I discover that's are?

Does any one has experience with MC1000 or other BarCode scanners with WinCE?

Hi Jabu.  I'm busy on a project using Symbol MC9000G barcodes scanners, but not using KOL-CE.  So far no problems besides a couple of windows events problems; I even ported the barcode scanner functionality and am able to scan barcodes.

Maybe first try to make an application without KOL and try to run on the scanner - if that works, you will have to try and find out what DLLs KOL requires...
