A word about the Lazarus editor / code tools
(1/1)
Hi im Pascal:
Hello,
I just wanted to say I think the Lazarus IDE is very nice, and I am especially impressed by Code Tools. I'm not used to that much convenience from C++ IDEs. I literally just press [Ctrl+Shift+C] for anything and think "naah I bet it won't do that", but there you go it just did it... very convenient. I don't know if it's because Pascal syntax is easier to lex, but I really love that feature!
Cheers.

In part it's because that. A bigger part is due to the Lazarus developers being super-stars ;D

has some useful tricks too !
(I love being able to open a terminal window in the current project dir for example.)

Hi im Pascal:
Thank's for all the additional advice. On first sight, the ability to search all components at once seems very useful, too! Wish I had known that sooner.
